Job Description:

This is a skilled supervisory position in the concrete construction industry, specializing in curb and gutter. This individual will supervise the installation of site concrete and utility work. Construction includes but not limited to construction and major street repairs, driveways, sidewalks, entrances/aprons, parking lots, slabs and storm sewers.
Foreman will plan, assign, schedule, and supervise the work of concrete crew, laborers, truck drivers, and equipment operators engaged in the construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of projects.

Candidate must have thorough knowledge of all site concrete and utilities (specializing in curb and gutter). Candidate must have knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, materials and tools used in concrete site construction and maintenance. Understand, manage and prevent occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work. Ability to interpret and work from instructions, penciled plans and sketches, and blue prints. Must have the ability to lay-out, direct, and supervise construction job site. Be a leader with the ability to supervise the work of others. Efficiently carry out instructions and communicate and coordinate with superiors, subordinates, vendors and office staff. Record keeping is vital and required for all jobs.
We are a local concrete construction company in business for over 20 years and are now hiring full time foremen. You must have experience at management level in the construction industry, as well as familiar with site concrete which includes curb and gutter. All employees should be able to supply your own transportation to and from the job sites throughout the Hampton Roads area.

You will also be required to get a RAPIDGate pass after you have been hired.

We have a lot of government work so if you cannot gain access to military bases then you are not qualified for the foreman position.

In order to gain access to our military base jobs, employees will need a RAPIDGate pass.

If you have any of the following offenses on your record, you will not be able to receive a pass and therefore not qualified for the foreman position.

• Felony Convictions
• Registered Sexual Offenders
• Open Wants or Warrants
• Hits against the National Criminal Database Screen (FBI Most Wanted, OFAC, ICE, INTERPOL, etc.)
• SSN inconsistencies
